After church we went to Beau and Kasey's for lunch then headed over to Burke Lake Park. They had a haunted train ride for the kids. Tucker was a strong Spiderman, Jacob was a sweet dragon or dinosaur or lizard, Mary Raines was a sweet lady bug and Brooks was a very cute skunk. The train ride was a lot of fun and after that the kids got to ride a carousal. They had a very fun time and did not want to go home.

Welcome to Cox Farms Fall Festival
My next door neighbor told us about this farm out in Centreville VA that has a fall festival from the end September to the end of October. It sounded neat so we decided to take the boys on Friday. I had no idea how much fun this would be for the whole family. When we got there it was raining but we waited it out and it finally stopped. This place was truly amazing and if we stay in this area for an extended amount of time going to Cox Farms will be a Hinely family tradition. This place has been around for over 35 years and they say each year gets a little bit better. We got to go on a hayride, feed the goats, watch a baby pig get milk from his big momma, milk a cow, and the best part for Tucker was getting to ride all kinds of different slides. I thought he would be scared to go down by himself but of course the Hinely in him he wasn't scared at all. I could go on and on about this place but I think you get the point that we loved Cox Farms and hope to go back before Halloween. Here is the website if you want to check it out. http://www.coxfarms.com/

Bath Buddies
Open House
Yesterday all the fire stations in Fairfax County had an open house. Johnny had to work but as soon as he got a break he met us at one of the fire stations close to our house. This was a dream come true for Tucker and Johnny. They had a fire truck and an ambulance that we could get in and look around. Tucker was completely overwhelmed but he really loved it.

Reston Petting Zoo
On Tuesday we took the boys to a very unique petting zoo out in Reston VA. When we first got there I wasn't so sure about it but as we started walking around I warmed up to it. Of course it had the typical goats and sheep but it also had pony rides. Tucker loves horses so this was such a treat for him. I thought he might be a little scared to do it by himself but he hoped right on and away he went. He loved it! After the pony ride we got to ride a wagon that was pulled by a tractor. This was such a treat for Tucker because he loves loves loves tractors. This was not your ordinary wagon ride. As you can tell by the pictures we were greeted by some very friendly animals. The camel came right up to the wagon and we were able to pet him. It was very very cool. We all had a blast and look forward to going back really soon.
